New Year's Eve Ice Report

It appears that ice covers most if not all of the surface of both ponds from what can be seen from the main roads. There are some dark spots but they look to be extremely thin ice areas or possibly open water. The ice should not be considered safe yet.

Ice Freeze and Thaw

The warm weather has made it difficult for the ice to freeze consistently. Today there are still some open areas, large areas with thin ice and some areas with ice and snow. This pic from the Denmark boat landing.
